Sometimes things are hard…

Last year’s growing season was great! I love having subscribers and U-pick sessions. Things wrap up by the end of October and the farm quiets down for the winter. In October, my 91-year-old mother was diagnosed with brain cancer. Talk about a shock! She didn’t want any intervention and she passed in January. She had a great life. This little flower farm is such a gift. Grief and sadness can be overwhelming, what I found healing was spending time in my lavender room where I process the dried lavender and dreaming and planning for this year. My hope is that my lavender and flowers can bring peace and joy to everyone who experiences them.
